All the work shown on the madebysteph website is by Stephanie Parker and is born of her ongoing love of drawing, designing and making.

Steph was born in Germany and grew up in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She started her artistic education at the University of Ulster and went on to study Fashion and Textile Design with Business Studies at the University of Brighton.

Following some time in industry in London working as a designer with Dai Rees, Tracy Mulligan and Copperwheat Blundell and as an account assistant at Fashion and Lifestyle PR company, Neville McCarthy Associates, it became obvious that her passion was in other areas of art and design.

After years following other career paths, Steph decided to return to the world of art, this time, in the direction of textile design and illustration.

She currently works as a freelance designer and illustrator on a varied selection of design projects for the Gift and Greeting Card industry and in Textile and Homeware Design.

She has exhibited and sold her illustrative prints in galleries in England and Northern Ireland and sells her work on Etsy and through Art Fairs and the Artists Open House Festival.
